Tournaments
Win a tournament at Liberty Slots Casino and have the winnings in your casino balance in a matter of minutes. Once the tournament ends, winnings are added to the winner's account instantly. You put your skill to good use topping other players and taking all or some of the pot. How much you win depends on the tournament.
Three Categories for the Online Tournaments
The casino has three main categories for its tournaments. Daily tournaments last just a day and are usually freerolls or have buy-ins of just a few dollars. Freerolls are ideal when you're starting out. You don't pay anything to enter and prizes usually are around $100. Some tournaments have you playing for the pot. The amount depends on how many participate in the tournament. Weekly tournaments last several days. They may be freerolls or they may require a buy-in of a few dollars. Most weekly tournaments have prize pots that are decided by the number of people entering the tournament. Finally, there are the special monthly tournaments. They usually have the largest prizes. Buy-ins for the monthly tournaments are often $4 or $5 and have pots topping $1,000. There are some monthly tournaments that have prizes of $5,000 or more if enough people enter.
Understanding the Tournament Structure
If you look at an available tournament, you'll find all of the terms are clearly laid out. Take one of the daily freerolls, such as the Free Game of the Day Tournament. The name of the video slot you must play for the tournament is presented in the "Game Name" box. Next, the number of participants in the tournament is given. The time the tournament starts, the end time, and the deadline for registering appears below the number of participants. Getting into the pertinent details, you'll find the entry free. This is how much you pay to enter. It's always $0 in a freeroll tournament. There's the “starting balance,” which tells you how many chips you get when you enter. For the Northern Lights freeroll, the $0 entry fee gives you $100 in chips. If you use up those chips and want to buy more, you can when your balance is $5. Rebuys are $2 and give you another $100 in chips. You have an unlimited number of rebuys available. There's a second tab that says “Prize Pool.” This breaks down the possible prizes. The first place winner gets the most. There are four other prizes available that players in runner-up positions win. Finally, there's a third tab that shows the current standings. Leaderboards for the Liberty Slots tournaments update at least once every minute. To join a tournament, find the tournament of interest and click the red “register” button. If you don't have funds in your casino balance, you'll need to make a deposit with the cashier first. Once you've registered, play that game as often as possible and try to make your way to the top of the leaderboard. If you do, the cash prize is yours.
